Indian Judiciary has again upheld its dignity and showed that it can not be manipulated. In a high profile murder case of Nitish Katara, the court today held Vikas Yadav and Vishal Yadav guilty of murdering Nitish guilty under Section 302, 364, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Vikas and Vishal were convicted on the charges of murder, abduction and destruction of evidence in the case. Vikas is a son of Uttar Pradesh politician DP Yadav and Vishal is his cousin. They allegedly murdered Nitish for having affair with their sister Bharati. The accused did all the things possible by turning many witnesses to hostile but could not alter the Judiciary system. This is a high point of Indian Judiciary system which once again upheld the rights of citizens. Also one should appreciate Mrs. Nilam Katara, mother of Nitish Katara for fighting this case against all odds to give justice to Nitish Katara. This is one more wing for Judiciary system after the Jessica Lal murder case and Priyadarshini Matto case where also court convicted the accused in spite of the high connection of accused. All these cases probably will go to upper courts now but we need to have faith in our judiciary system that it will again prove that it can not be manipulated.
This is a lesson for all those rotten sons of politicians and high profile people that they can not escape any punishment after committing crime. All such cases may not be in favour of victim every time, but such positive judgement on such high profile cases will definitely have significant effect on other cases. Also we need people like Nilam Katara , Ms. Lal, sister of Jessica and father of Priyadarshini Matoo for fighting the cases till the end. In these cases the role of media also need to be appreciated as they again and again came in support of families of victim in gathering the mass support. This has definitely put pressure on Judiciary to give fair judgement.
I only hope Judiciary does the same thing in Arushi murder case and ensures that the killer is punished.

We all know that D.P.Yadav is a don. he has committed numerous crimes that include murders, attempt to murders, kidnappings and extortion. The list is endless. He always had it in mind that being a don, he is probably above law; he can do whatever he wanted and get away with it.
The same don is devastated today when his son and nephew have been handed over life sentences. He and his kids certainly deserve no sympathy from any corners. Neelam Katara has lost her young son who was happily placed and had a bright future ahead of him. But his life was cut short by the don’s sons. A life sentence for Vikas and Vishal is absolutely appropriate. Let them live, and let them die, everyday.
I salute you Mrs. Neelam Katara for you tremendous courage. There is a proverb in Arabic which goes: Innallaha ma as-sabireen!(certainly Allah {God} is with those who have patience).
