After Hardhajan -Sreesanth episode, one more controversy is marring IPL This time it is Shane Warne, Rajasthan Royals captian Vs. Sourav Ganguly, Kolkata Knightriders Captain. Warne accused Ganguly for resorting to time wasting tactics in yesterdays match between Two.
Warne said that Ganguly made them to wait in the field for more then 5 mins by coming late to bat . He lambasted saying “We just waited for Sourav to come out. When we were out on the field, we all stood there waiting. I don’t know what he was doing. He wanted extra time. He was going on his own time. Twenty20 is meant to be one hour 20 minutes for each side but we were waiting for him”. Ganguly’s refusal to accept the Greame Smith’s word on his catch and asking the third umpire for referral has further angered Warne. He said that “When in Bangalore we signed the Spirit of Cricket it meant play in the right spirit. International captains like Greame Smith says he caught him and it was a clean catch,”
Ganguly responded by saying ” Look who is talking. If you look at his career and the incidents he got in. It will give you the answer”
This is a fresh start of verbal accuses between IPL team captains. We are unsure who is right or wrong. It is very difficult to say whether Ganguly intentionally came late to bat or Warne is blowing things out of proportion. Since both players are very aggressive, It is interesting to see how far this verbal fight goes between these two.

Finally Mumbai Indians are able to come out of their loosing habit and tastes victory. Today they defeated Kolkata Knightriders by 7 wickets, thanks to some brilliant bowling by Jaysuriya and batting by Bravo. This atleast will help to boost the morale of Mumbai Indians and initiate momentum for rest of the league matches. Shaun Pollack is able to regroup the team and help Mumbai Indians to win their their first match. Sachin is also declared fit and is expected to play the next match. From here onwards it will be very interesting to watch how Mumbai Indians will live up to their expectations.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knightriders, who started the league with enormous energy, hype and great performance seems to slip. With back to back losses and Ponting &other Australian players leaving for their home country ,the Knightriders need to do lot of hard work to regain its winning habit. May be Shahrukh Khan has to give them energy !!!

What supposed to be a war between titans ( or equals) turned out to be a completely one sided match. Undefeated so far, Kolkata Knightriders and Chennai Super Kings met today at Chennai for their 3rd match. The Chennai Supper Kings comfortably defeated Kolkata Knightriders by 9 wickets and registered their 3rd consecutive victory. The Kolkata Knightriders suffered their first loss in IPL DLF Cup.
The match was supposed to be a trilling one, but Kolkata knightriders were routed earlier by a brilliant bowling by Channai Bowling, especially Badrinath. The Chennai bowling was considered weak, but today they proved their critics wrong. Then it was all up to in form duo of Hyden and Dhoni to finish off the game loosing only single wicket. The high profile Knighriders surrendered completely.
Chennai Super Kings unbeaten till now are favorites to win the IPL cup. Dhoni again showed exemplary captaincy. It seems winning and Dhoni always goes together. One has to admit Dhoni is a thinking cricketer, He has maturity, disciplined and a good motivator. With Hyden and Hussey on his side the best of his team is yet to come.

I came across official website of IPL team kolkata knight riders accidently and I was tempted to see the websites of other IPL teams. Thought of comparing them for their looks & design, contents and usability .
My Verdict goes like this..
Overall Winner is Clearly kingsxipunjab.com followed by Delhidaredevils.com and Kolkataknightriders.com The kingsxipunjab.com is very different, looks historical with its epic book looks. The design is fantastic. The Delhidaredevils.com is more stylish and comes close second. For the 3rd position there is a close competition between kolkatanightrider.com and deccanchargers.com, but because of its content , the kolkataknightriders.com occupies 3rd position.
It is worthy to mention that deccanchargers.com is a good site with neatly put contents. The chennaisuperkings.com also has reasonably good looks, contents and gets top position for usability. The websites of other teams like themumbaiindians.com, royalchallengers.com & rajastanroyals.com are normal and lacks attention.
Parameter wise ranking and Overall ranking of websites.

After SRK for Kolkata Knightriders, Priety Zinta forPunjab Kings IX, Hritik Roshan for Mumbai Indians, it is Akshay Kumar now for Delhi daredevils. Born in Delhi, Akshay is supporting delhi dare devils.
In today’s match of Delhi dare devils against Rajastan Royals, Akshay Kumar was at his Best.. He entered the stadium in his true style sliding from sky ,actively cheered for Delhi team and also was part of commentary team for a while.
Off course Akshay is paid for supporting Delhi dare devils, but he cashes it on his image building . But for all cricket fans of India , Akshays entry is one more reason to go crazy over cricket
Bye
