Pageonce.com …. Visit this site for one stop entry to WEB.

The liberalisation has lead to addiction towards consumersism in  most of us. I am no exception towards it. I am  having 4 bank accounts, 5 credit cards, 3 emails ids and subscription and registration for so many other things. The Internet revolution has further added complexity to it, by introducing so many passwords and user ids. How one can remember so many things. I always used to struggle. First I used excel sheet to keep track of all my accounts, user ids and passwords. Then I started using Roboform, a good software for password storage. But to enter each bank site or email site, I had to open a new tab/page and enter url. Hence  I was searching for a site/software which can give me a single page login. Finally I found Pageonce.com

Pageonce.com is a recenty started service. This sites provides a platform to see all your banckaccounts/credit card accounts/email accounts and others with a single login. The site is well designed and user friendly except for it is very slow. I am sure over few months they will address this problem. You login with single password and then you can see all info about your banck accounts, credit card info, emails, orkut, linkedin etc. They are slowly adding few more sites.

One apprehension may be the security of this type of service. The pageonce.com says it has taken all care about security of information and lists all the things in details in its security policy. The security document is also available in their site. They also boost many security certifications. But we need to watch on this front.

Overall it is a great service. Even though very few Indian companies/banks are appearing in this site( I was able to see only HDFC Bank) , the service can  still be used for others like email and social networking sites.

I have started using this and finds it a great relief . Off course I am not fully sure how secure is the info?

Why Dhoni is asking for rest ? ….. Is it too much of cricket ?

In a recent press conference, Indian Cricket captain, MS Dhoni expressed his dissatisfaction over too much of cricket. He clearly told that they are very much tired and indicated that he and his team need rest desperately. This throws us few questions. Are we expecting too much of cricket ? Is BCCI is putting cricketers under too much of stress ?

The Dhoni’s statements are reflection of cricket saturation. We have to admit that, this season, they are having too much of cricket. IPL ( too much 45 days), followed by Bangaldesh tour, Asia cup,Champion trophy, Srilanka tour etc. There is a necessity to restrict cricket. With the introduction of IPL, the cricketers are burdened too much. BCCI has to look at this very critically and find some path out or reduce the no of tours. Yes, BCCI does not want to loose money by sacrificing few tours and tournaments, but definitely there are ways to do it. One way is to continue the cricket, but resting few players on rotational basis. This looks great idea but critics may say that India never puts its best team. But  with so many players emerging nowadays, we have plenty of best players.

This is one side of the story. The other side is to understand what cricketers do when they are free. I suppose they shoot for advertisements, attend promotional events etc. Are these not stressful. I fully understand cricketer need to make money to live rest of his life, but not by spending too much time on non-cricketing activities. The no of times I see Dhoni in ads, I am sure he must have put lot of time and effort to it. Then no wonder he is tired. During cricketing season, he plays cricket and rest of the times he is busy shooting. This applies to most of the cricketers.

One need to understand as a professional to give  time for self and relaxation . This will boost energy and Dhoni need not crib about too much of cricket ( or too much of shooting). If every cricketer restricts his shooting time , then he will be a success. But as we says old habits are difficult to give in !!!
