Shahrukh sends a punishment SMS to Kolkatta Knightriders team members ..

We all know Shahrukh as a different type of guy. He knows how to handle some difficult situation and still respond to it without creating furore. After loosing 7 matches and semi final berth looks near impossible, his team Kolkatta Knightriders is going low. Hence Shahrukh decided to send SMS to his team members. The message was ordinary and motivating but still contained all the relevant things and indirectly asked his team to fire up . That’s what Shahrukh did to Kolkatta knightriders. .

The SMS reads like this:

“Story time boys… I told you if you keep losing you have to bear with my long, boring msgs…. This is your punishment…. Many times I have made movies which don’t do well…. When I’m doing them, of course, I don’t know they won’t do well…. The story is written by somebody else and I just do my bit as an actor. But I have a way of dealing with flop stories, I try my best to keep my character in the film at a level that it makes a failed story also special for me…. I enjoy the work…. I make jokes about the failure…. And, of course, feel awful about it too…. So, right now, all of us have become part of a failed script… A bad IPL script…. Let’s try and keep our characters worthy of still looking back at this story and remembering it as a special story becos we all worked very hard at this…. So, chin up and don’t spoil yr character in the next two games…. Let’s go out with a bang and not a whimper…. In films, we say u r only as good as yr last film…. So let’s make the whole world know how good we r in the last (maybe not) two games… Also, do ignore all this bit about Dada, me and John having issues…. It’s a normal thing in the world…. People like to hit you when u r down…. So, we will be hit…. No stress…. It will make us stronger…. The only way to avoid this is to win…. That’s one of the reasons why everybody likes to be a winner…. On the other hand, the beauty of failure is that it brings people together…. So, let’s stick this out together…. You know me well enuff to know I am not the kind of owner who has issues with the team ‘cos of losses… I am too much of a sport myself to get beaten by defeats…. Like you guys are…. Like Dada and John…. I am still trying to understand the code of conduct expected of me at the matches of the IPL…. ICC… etc…. After I understand it, I will decide whether to accept it or not…. Till such time, I will be with you guys at the hotel… in the meetings etc., but won’t come for the matches…. So, please don’t ever feel it is anything to do with us as a team…. I am as dedicated to my Knights as I am to my kids…. Only, I won’t be coming to the class room till the headmaster’s rules are understood by me…. I am a bit anti-establishment kind of a guy, so I apologise for this quirk to u all…. So, head’s up…. Have a good match and let’s make 200 runs tomorrow….This 150 seems to not work any more.”

The SMS even though looked very ordinary and sober it contained all the messages. In simple terms he told his guys – Guys wake up , its time to fire otherwise you will be looser”. That’s Shahrukh. Man who knows to send right message at right time and still get his job done. Now Its up to his team to respond to this message. Lets watch next two matches of Kolkatta Knightriders to see whether this message will have any impact.

Amir Khan Apologies for his remark on Shahrukh and dog controversy

Amir khan yesterday apologised for his remark on Shahrukh ( dog controversy ) and said that it was purely unintentional and was just a humor. He said that he and Shahrukh are good friends and further added that he received response from his fans who told him he should not have done that. He further said that he is apologising to his as well as Shahrukh’s fans for this controversy.

This is what is expected from Amir khan. At least Amir is able to clear the controversy and put an end to it. Amir need to to take care in future even while making a humorous remark.

Amir Khan creates flutter …says Shahrukh is liciking his feet.

I some time wonder how very matured and sensible people behave. I respect Amir Khan for his principles,thinking, courage of standing up to right things and dignity he holds. Again and again he has proved it whether it is controversy regarding Olympic torch relay or Narmada Issue.

My first sentence of the above para refers to the recent blog entry by Aamir khan in his blogsite www.aamirkhan.com. Well!! hold your breath !!. Amir says “Shahrukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then”. He further says ” Shahrukh is begging for his attention”. These statements may raise eyebrows, but Amir says in his blog that he is referring this to his pet dog Shahrukh. He further says that he has nothing to do with the naming of the dog as Shahrukh. Now these statements may clarify our initial thoughts on the wordings mentioned above, but nevertheless it raises few other questions.

Whether Amir wrote this blog entry just as a humor. Possibly yes !!. But even if it is a humor, whether he has done a right thing by knowingly or unknowingly raising doubts about his intentions. Presumably we all understand what Amir is trying to say. Amir should have a refrained from this because he is damaging his own name. The issue here is sensible and may lead to various inferences and conclusions. Few may think Amir is jealous of Shahrukh and hence is taking dig at him or few people may take it as just a humor. Whatever one may think, this blog entry is not in a good taste.

I am really surprised and this was least expected of Amir. I am not able to understand why Amir is getting in to this type of public gimmick, again knowingly or unknowingly. I am sure Shahrukh will hit back with his own way of answering his critics. This may turn out to be ugly word war and only Amir to be blamed for this. One advise to Amir – Your are a great actor and nice the way you are. Don’t get in to these “uncalled for controversies”.

Finally Mumbai Indians Tastes Victory ..

Finally Mumbai Indians are able to come out of their loosing habit and tastes victory. Today they defeated Kolkata Knightriders by 7 wickets, thanks to some brilliant bowling by Jaysuriya and batting by Bravo. This atleast will help to boost the morale of Mumbai Indians and initiate momentum for rest of the league matches. Shaun Pollack is able to regroup the team and help Mumbai Indians to win their their first match. Sachin is also declared fit and is expected to play the next match. From here onwards it will be very interesting to watch how Mumbai Indians will live up to their expectations.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knightriders, who started the league with enormous energy,hype and great performance seems to slip. With back to back losses and Ponting &other Australian players leaving for their home country ,the Knightriders  need to do lot of hard work to regain its winning habit. May be Shahrukh Khan has to give them energy !!!

Guess , who was watching IPL match between Kolkata Knightriders and Deccan Chargers. Its none other than Rahul & Priyanka Gandhi. Priyanka was watching the match alongwith her hubby Robert Vadhera and sitting neXt to Shahrukh Khan cheering for Kolkata knightriders. Even Robert Vadhera was dancing.

So after cricketers, bollywood stars….. many politicians are attracted to IPL

Akshay Kumar joins IPL Bandwagon…

After SRK for Kolkata Knightriders, Priety Zinta forPunjab Kings IX, Hritik Roshan for Mumbai Indians, it is Akshay Kumar now for Delhi daredevils. Born in Delhi, Akshay  is supporting delhi dare devils.

In today’s match of Delhi dare devils against Rajastan Royals, Akshay Kumar was at his Best.. He entered the stadium in his true style sliding from sky ,actively cheered for Delhi  team and also was part of commentary team for a while.

Off course Akshay is paid for supporting Delhi dare devils, but he cashes it on his image building . But for all cricket  fans of India , Akshays entry is one more reason to go crazy over cricket
