Abhinav Bindra, golden boy of India, made all of us proud by winning a gold medal in Beijing olympics. I never knew he also blogs. I accidental came across his blog. The blog started just before he left for Beijing and has around 10 posts.

True to his style, the blog is very simple and reflects his down to earth, simple style. The blog reflects his thoughts and feelings before and after winning the gold medal. Everyone of us should read this blog and get inspired by his dedication and efforts.

Lalu Prasad Yadav & Raj Thackerey … What they are up to ?

The war of words between Lalu Prasad Yadav and Raj Thackeray has intensified further. Today Lalu Prasad Yadav in his blog  ( click here for Blog ) has attacked Raj saying that Raj is fighting for his survival. He has further said that the recent attack on north Indians was the result of fighting between Uddhav and Raj and Raj is fighting his way for political survival after parting way with Shiv Sena.

As I wrote in my earlier post Lalu Prasad Yadav is cleverly using his blog to attack his rivals. But I Wonder how Lalu can make such comments. There are several instances in the past, when Lalu himself used such political gimmick for his survival. Both Raj and Lalu are trying to be the mass leaders. One is attempting to be the leader of Maharastrians and the other portrays himself as messiah of Biharis. It would be better if they concentrate more on serving the people rather than try to leverage political advantage by doing these political gimmick. As one of my earlier post showed the ground realities of Indian Railyways, Lalu should concentrate more on improving the sanitation and hygiene at Railways rather then on silly things like this. If Lalus’ blog listed the few of actions he is planning to take for improving these aspects of Railways, it would have been better. But who is bothered about that ?

Raj can become a great leader, only if he is concentrating more on real issues concerning the Maharastrians. But as the tradition goes, everyone wants to have a strong foothold in the politics by playing the emotions of the people. The war between  these two forward politicians   is becoming a  destructive politics rather than a constructive one. You can expect a fiery reply from Raj Thackerey for Lalu’s bog very soon.

Ram Gopal Varma Blog …. A direct hit at his critics

Incidently Ram Gopal Varma is following footsteps of other bollywood celebraties like Amitabh Bachchan, Amir Khan and Salman Khan. Blogging virus has bit him and RGV has started blogging since June Ist.

The RGVs blog is quite different from other celebrities blog. Rather than writing his own day to day activities, RGV uses this blog mainly to express his comments on his films. He started this with his new release “Sarkar Raj”.

As RGV says “It’s to express my thoughts on my films. For instance, everyone thought ‘Nishabd’ was based on ‘Lolita’ when it was not. If I had my blog at that time, I could’ve explained why it wasn’t ‘Lolita’. At the moment I’m taken up with ‘Sarkar Raj’. So I’ve started by sharing my thoughts on ‘Sarkar Raj’. Next, I’ll start discussing my other new film ‘Contract’. He further says “I’ll be carrying on a conversation with myself on the blog. The process of thought expression becomes very different when questions are thrown at you. I don’t see my blog as a substitute for interviews. In fact in his blog, RGV directly hits at his critics. He answers point to point for the reviews of Sarkar Raj. Some of his answers are very blunt and directly fires his opponents. He has questioned the various comments made by several film critics including Khalid Mohammed and Deepa Gahlot. He also questions their knowledge on certain aspects of film making .

RGV has finally found a space to express his thoughts on his film making and silence his critics who on several occasions questioned his style of film making.

Lalu Prasad Yadav to start blogging now ….

Off late blogging virus has hit many celebrities. Be it Amitabh Bachchan, Amir Khan or Salman Khan. But now it started hitting politicians too. Our own Lalu Prasad Yadav started blogging in mypoplorn.com .Lalu intend to post every week at his blog.

It is not new for politician to start blogging. Omar Abdulla already blogs. But when Laluji blogs it creates lot of interest because it is definitely going to very humorous and funny to read. However Lalu’s first post was very political and he targeted Vasundhara Raje for Gujjar Agitation and said that the agitation reached this level because of mishandling by Vasundhara Raje Government. He also raised his concern on Gujjars demand and showed is displeasure at loses to railways and passengers due to agaitation.

We may see Lalu using this blog as a tool for tar getting his political rivals or to his own political advantage. Nevertheless in coming days the blog will be in news both for humour as well as controversies. Salman Khan starts Blogging ….

Blogging seems to be new fashion in bollywood. After Amir Khan & Amitabh Bachahan, now Salman Khan turns blogger.

In his first entry Sallu wrote that he takes all his decisions on instincts rather than calculations.”All my decisions are based on my instincts and some people think that I am too moody and cynical,” Salman wrote in his blog.”Believe me, I have been guided by my instincts and my heart all my life! I do not depend too much on intelligence, analysis and calculations.”

Day-3

We stars thrive on adulation and love of the common people and yet we get few chances of meeting them. It’s really a thrilling experience to meet common people. These are the people who elect politicians and create stars. They are also guided by their instincts. Probably this common factor, of instinct, has created tremendous emotional rapport between my fans and me. My contemporaries are highly educated & accomplished people and are very articulate. I am a simpleton in comparison. I know masses love me for what I am and I need not project an image for establishing any rapport with them.

Day-2

I hate formality and behavioral rituals. I like to be direct. Beating around the bush is not my cup of tea. The inherent elements of humor and informality in the format made me think very positively about 10 Ka Dum.

Amir Khan Apologies for his remark on Shahrukh and dog controversy

Amir khan yesterday apologised for his remark on Shahrukh ( dog controversy ) and said that it was purely unintentional and was just a humor. He said that he and Shahrukh are good friends and further added that he received response from his fans who told him he should not have done that. He further said that he is apologising to his as well as Shahrukh’s fans for this controversy.

This is what is expected from Amir khan. At least Amir is able to clear the controversy and put an end to it. Amir need to to take care in future even while making a humorous remark.

Amir Khan creates flutter …says Shahrukh is liciking his feet.

I some time wonder how very matured and sensible people behave. I respect Amir Khan for his principles,thinking, courage of standing up to right things and dignity he holds. Again and again he has proved it whether it is controversy regarding Olympic torch relay or Narmada Issue.

My first sentence of the above para refers to the recent blog entry by Aamir khan in his blogsite www.aamirkhan.com. Well!! hold your breath !!. Amir says “Shahrukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then”. He further says ” Shahrukh is begging for his attention”. These statements may raise eyebrows, but Amir says in his blog that he is referring this to his pet dog Shahrukh. He further says that he has nothing to do with the naming of the dog as Shahrukh. Now these statements may clarify our initial thoughts on the wordings mentioned above, but nevertheless it raises few other questions.

Whether Amir wrote this blog entry just as a humor. Possibly yes !!. But even if it is a humor, whether he has done a right thing by knowingly or unknowingly raising doubts about his intentions. Presumably we all understand what Amir is trying to say. Amir should have a refrained from this because he is damaging his own name. The issue here is sensible and may lead to various inferences and conclusions. Few may think Amir is jealous of Shahrukh and hence is taking dig at him or few people may take it as just a humor. Whatever one may think, this blog entry is not in a good taste.

I am really surprised and this was least expected of Amir. I am not able to understand why Amir is getting in to this type of public gimmick, again knowingly or unknowingly. I am sure Shahrukh will hit back with his own way of answering his critics. This may turn out to be ugly word war and only Amir to be blamed for this. One advise to Amir – Your are a great actor and nice the way you are. Don’t get in to these “uncalled for controversies”.

Amitabh Bachchan to start Blogging …

Its now Big Bs turn to start blogging. Recently he announced that he will be blogging. ADAG owned bIgadda.com has roped Amitabh Bachchan to start blogging in its site. After Aaamir Khan ( Blog –www.aamirkhan.com), AB is the next super star to start blogging. Already he has put in few posts in his blog. The style and language of blog is as expected simply outstanding.

Hi startes his blog by saying”I am still illiterate towards this medium and beg to be excused for any errors or expectations from me. But as time goes by and the systems fall into place, there shall hopefully be a more refined presentation. “.
